Cleaning the Bath with Bar Keepers Friend

If you're anything like me you love a good bath, and now that we are getting into the cooler months, it is the perfect time to give your bath a good clean.

IMPORTANT: While Bar Keepers Friend is safe to use on most hard surfaces, including porcelain, always test it on an inconspicuous part of the bathtub first.

If your bathroom floor is polished marble or other natural stone, cover the area closest to the bathtub before you start cleaning as BKF may cause discolouration or etching on delicate surfaces.

What you'll need:
- Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser
- Scrub Daddy or light-grade pad
- Dry cloth (lint free)

Instructions:
Step 1: Rinse entire tub with water.

Step 2: Rinse a light-grade pad or Scrub Daddy in water.

Step 3: Apply Soft Cleanser to your pad or sponge or directly into the bath.

Step 4: Scrub in small circles for no more than a minute each time.

Step 5: Rinse thoroughly and wipe down with a dry cloth or towel.

Still not cutting it?

If the surface has super tough staining or you have already tried the Soft Cleanser, you may want to step up to the Powdered Cleanser. As always though, test in a small area first and rinse thoroughly.

For super tough jobs we suggest making the powder into a paste and letting it sit on the surface for a minute before giving it a scrub then rinsing completely. Also, work over a small area at first other than the whole bath at once.
