Cleaning Headlights with Bar Keepers Friend

Foggy or cloudy headlights not only look bad, but they are also dangerous. Not only do they reduce the amount of light coming through they also impact the scattering of the light which can cause glare for other drivers, so it is definitely important to make sure your headlights remain clean.

Since not all headlight assemblies come from the same materials, always test in a small area before cleaning and you may want to protect your vehicle by taping off the painted areas or covering the areas you wish to use another product on. Bar Keepers Friend products are not recommended on the paintwork.

Here is the easiest and fastest way to get your headlights shining bright again.

What you'll need:
Soft or microfibre cloth (lint free)
Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser or Bar Keepers Friend MORE Spray
Soft Cloth or towel to dry
Gloves (preferred)

How to Clean:
Step 1: Apply Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser directly on to your cloth or spray Bar Keepers Friend MORE Spray onto the headlights.

Step 2: Clean in small circles on the headlights to buff clean.

Step 3: Rinse with a wet cloth or hose.

Step 4: Dry with a soft cloth or towel. Happy headlights!🚘
